ThreeSixty’s News Team class is designed to give interested students the basics of reporting skills. The class meets once a week for ten weeks. Students will produce one news story during the class and will be invited to work as a paid writer for ThreeSixty after completing the class, if interested. This class starts

To apply for News Team, ThreeSixty’s weekly introductory journalism class, please fill out and submit this online form. The class is free, but spots are limited.

Deadline to apply: October 10
Class starts: Thursday, October 25

Teaching staff: Tom Rozwadowski, editor for ThreeSixty Journalism, along with support from many of the Twin Cities’ top journalists and media makers.

Eligibility: We are interested in your commitment, curiosity and knowledge. Applicants should be enrolled in a Minnesota high school and be interested in telling true stories using writing, photography, graphics, videography or audio. Joining ThreeSixty’s News Team requires initiative, commitment, the ability to complete a story on your own time and perseverance during the editing process.

Selection is based on your application, gusto and samples of work. Applicants will be notified in no more than five days after the deadline if they have been accepted.
