Day Four: Diving In . . .

I’m not a great writer but with the help I got, I felt like my essay was written by a famous author named Abdul.

So far, my experience at the camp has been awesome. The food is great, like always. My college essay writing has changed from day one. With the help of pros and the best editor we have, my essay is taking it shape. I’m not a great writer but with the help I got, I felt like my essay was written by a famous author named Abdul. I never thought that writing was fun.  But at the camp, I was able to write without the pressure of the essay equivalent of “70 percent of my grade.” The camp has let me see and experience the stages that goes into writing an essay. I learned lot at the camp. I learned about writing and what to do and what not to do when choosing a college to spent four years at. I learned the importance of starting early in the college process. The best part of the camp was the fact that I’m getting the chance to spend time in college classroom and get the experience of a college student.

“So, what stuff do you like?”

I’m not a very social person, but it was as simple as asking someone what they liked to be able to make friends. The last couple days in ThreeSixty have actually been really fun getting to be so involved in writing my college essay, and it’s not too shocking how much my essay has undergone the editing process. I feel like I owe a huge thank you to Chris, my writing coach. He truly knew what I was trying to convey in my essay and helped me make it happen. I really look forward onto the next week where we’ll dive into journalism and my third week. I can’t wait!
