Each year, high school seniors who are graduates of a ThreeSixty summer camp compete for the ThreeSixty scholarship.

Three long-time volunteers with ThreeSixty Journalism are tasked with selecting the 2016 ThreeSixty scholar. Dina Gavrilos, University of St. Thomas Associate Professor of Communication and Journalism, Duchesne Drew, Bush Foundation Community Network Vice President and current ThreeSixty Board of Advisors Chair, and Laura Lee, Rochester’s KAAL-TV News Anchor, will interview candidates in February.

“There is nothing I’d be more honored to be a part of, than to help in the process to further the journalism career for another promising student,” Lee, one of two inaugural ThreeSixty scholars, said. This scholarship and this organization opened many doors for me, and to give that same gift to someone else is what we’re all here for.”

Each year, high school seniors who are graduates of a ThreeSixty summer camp compete for the ThreeSixty scholarship – a full-tuition, four-year scholarship to study communication and journalism at the University of St. Thomas. This year, there are more than 30 students who are eligible to apply.
