If you could interview anyone (living) who would it be? Alicia Keys. She is my Idol and I’ve always admired her as a kid and it would be nice to know what she’s really like in person. Or Ellen DeGeneres because I love her and she’s super funny.
What do you like about writing? I like writing about things that happen in my life or things that I can relate to.
What issues are important to you? Issues that have to do with education, my culture and my future are important to me. For example, anything that impacts how I’ll go to college or how Ill earn a living.
What is your ideal future career? After going to college and studying abroad in Spain, my dream is to be an actor and singer. But if that doesn’t work, then I’ll be a lawyer. Or I would start my own business.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go? Brazil or Spain. I don’t really know why, I just have been interested to go to both since I was a child. I really like both cultures and the languages. I’ve always wanted to explore the rainforests of Brazil and the streets of Spain.
What are your special talents? I wouldn’t really call them special, but I can play five different instruments — flute, violin, piano, harp and drums. I can also sing, dance and act. I also write poetry and short stories.
What do you do when you’re not at school? I like to sing really loudly and probably disturb my neighbors. I write and compose my own music, write poetry and sketch. I hangout with my friends. We also like to sing very loudly together, make short films and just be crazy and have fun. I’m in musicals at my school, student council and youth in government.
